Blue and white! That's what the sky over Bavaria looks like. And that's also how we designed our look. When it's O'zapft is!" again, a special time begins in Munich. Dirndls and lederhosen are pulled out of the wardrobe and presented at the Oktoberfest. Add a litre of beer and the day is perfect. But this festival is now also celebrated in other regions of Germany. And of course it's particularly important to have the right decorations at hand. The "Wiesn" style is simply part of it. Daisies and cornflowers are our blue and white emblem. A bouquet for the lady and a small buttonhole bouquet for the gentleman is a real tradition! The bouquet of edelweiss and cornflowers is only available from Artplants, as the edelweiss is a protected species. Edelweiss symbolises courage, bravery and love. Well, if that's not a hidden message to your beloved... Shop the look!
Design tip: The candle jar was decorated with a parcel string covered with small flowers. We simply attached the flowers with a hot glue gun. We tied the bouquet together - as they say in Bavaria - "by guess and by gosh". You can get a few pretzels at any bakery, but the beer mugs, which we simply repurposed as vases here, are not so easy to get because you have to drink them empty yourself and forgo the expensive deposit.
